At Idyl Book Cafe we are absolutely passionate about our coffee, and we can assure you even the fussiest coffee drinkers are going to love ours. We stock a range of Jasper coffees, including organic and fairtrade.

Our coffees come in three sizes: cup, mug and grande (for those in need of a serious caffeine fix) – and yes, we do know the difference between a cappucino and a latté.

Of course, we’re not just coffee. We also serve a range of other drinks, hot and cold, including teas, milkshakes and hot chocolates. A variety of loose teas (no teabags here folks!), including herbals, are always on the menu. And for those hot days, our cream-free iced coffee will blow your mind.

Food, glorious food

Our menu is specially designed for the health conscious, using low fat dressings and fresh salads. We regularly update our menu and cater for most dietary requirements, always endeavouring to have a range of vegetarian, glutten free, egg free, nut free and dairy free options on our menu.

Serving breakfasts till 11am and lunches all day, our friendly staff look forward to exciting your taste buds with a menu influenced from all over the world, including Asian, Spanish, Italian and Middle Eastern flavours.

We welcome group bookings and will ensure that you truly enjoy the cafe experience.

Catering

Idyl Book Cafe has been catering for a range of local businesses and government departments since we first opened our doors back in 2006, and we would love the opportunity to look after your organisation’s catering needs.

Morning and afternoon teas incorporate a lovely range of biscuits, slices and muffins at an affordable price.

For lunch, we make up beautiful platters of gourmet sandwiches using a range of fresh meats and vegetables. We also offer seasonal fruit platters and 100% orange juice.
