Idyl Book Cafe is a great place to meet casually with friends. But we also provide occasional formal get togethers. Keep an eye on our News section for information on upcoming events.

Writers’ nights

The 1st Wednesday of every month (except January) brings around Idyl’s writers’ night held in the cafe at 7:30pm. This is a great opportunity for local readers and writers to gather and network.

It provides an encouraging, supportive  and friendly atmosphere and welcomes everyone to come and share their work (whether story, poetry, non-fiction or even song), offer constructive feedback on others work, or just simply get out and meet people.
